Pacesetter will support employees and families by matching their donations dollar-for-dollar to approved charities or established not-for-profit organizations of their choice. The program also matches employee pledges for the Annual United Way campaign and charitable fundraising activities or events such as walks, runs or rides.
In conjunction with a local artist, Pacesetter funds and participates weekly in bringing an art program to the pre-school and kindergarten classes run out of the One World Child Development Center. It is through this "grass roots" program we feel we can make the biggest impact to change the lives of many children living in our Calgary community.
On May 14th Pacesetter was one of the Sponsors for Carson Reiser’s Birthday Ride, which he has done for the last four years to raise money for Cancer. This money from the ride is then donated to Wellspring Calgary. Wellspring Calgary provides a place for cancer patients to learn to cope with the pain, fear, isolation and practical problems which cancer brings to their lives.
